Heading Home…

I am writing this sitting in the airport lounge in Newport News, Virginia.  My return flight has been delayed for more than an hour, which is a bummer because I am so ready to be home.

It’s been an unbelievably busy, hectic week, but a very rewarding one.  I will post more about the Wave Conference later, and I hope to include a video of Alvin Slaughter singing “This I Know” a stirring song that really touched my heart.  It deals with boiling down to the core essentials who you are and why you do what you do.  What a song!

Looking forward to sleeping in my own bed at some point later tonight, and getting to spend the weekend with my incredible family!
